A typical dish
Peruvian causa a kind of cold potato salad usually served with some type of chicken or seafood. Here it is served in a very modern fashion.

So many paragliders take off from this spot. Sometimes there are a dozen in the air at the same time. I don't know how they don't crash into each other.

Robert's cousin, Danny, and his girlfriend Jeanette took us to a wonderful lunch at Chala restaurant.
Sours
A pisco sour and a maricuya sour - yum!
st francis cathedral
St Francis Cathedral built in 1600's. Inside are many rooms with original paintings by Rubens and tiles made in Sevilla Spain. We also visited the catacombs under this complex. Creepy.
larcomar shopping center
Fabulous Larcomar shopping center hangs off the cliffs in Miraflores Peru. Lots of upscale shopping and restaurants. You can sit on a balcony and enjoy an ice cream and watch the ocean below and the paragliders above.

me getting stitches
I broke a glass and had to get my first stiches in Peru! Yikes! 3 Stiches in my wrist. I was in and out of the hospital in 20 minutes. I even had a personal nurse rubbing my arm to comfort me. Better service than at home. :(
